If you are running a rally for Land Rover Camping And Caravan Club (LRCCC) then below are the guidelines you need to follow as the marshal. Please also read the "Club Rules" and "Association Rules" pages to familarise yourself with these.

1. At least two weeks before the rally, contact the
  • Booking officer to clarify numbers attending
  •  Treasurer to discuss payment to site or any cash you may require if the rally is a deposit rally
  •  Equipment officer to arrange collection of the equipment you require.
2. Contact the site owner at least one week before the rally to
  • Check arrival times & arrangements
  •  Confirm numbers attending
3. Decide arrival time and let Facebook/ website admin know

4. Free steward places are allocated depending on how many units actually
attend the rally, regardless of what the contract says
  • 00-20 units 1 free marshal place
  • 20-45 units 2 free marshal places
  • 46-60 units 3 free marshal places
  •  60+ Units 4 free marshal places
5. Please familiarise yourself with the rules and spacing instructions before the
rally. Please note that tents and trailer tents must be pitched at the end of a row.

6. When booking in units please check they are displaying a current BL car
sticker, if in doubt ask for proof of membership i.e. rally book

7. Honorary members are entitled to a £2 discount on selected weekend rallies
(marked ‘H’ on the website/rally book).

8. Cheques cannot be accepted on the rally field. Payments can only be accepted
by cash or card (if you have arranged using the Card machine)

9. Electric hook ups, when available, are given to units with essential medical
requirements and then in order of booking, not on first arriving.

10. Generators are allowed for medical reasons; otherwise they can only be used
between the hours of 11am-1pm and 5pm-7pm, if allowed by the landowner. They
must be supervised by the unit’s occupant.

11. Pup tents are for the use of children under the age of eighteen. Pup tents
must not be larger than 6’x8’ with minimum porch entrance. Any adult over the
age of eighteen sleeping in their own tent are classed as a Unit. They must
therefore be full members and pay the normal rally fee.

12. All non-unit members (extra adults above the standard 2) staying in a caravan
or awning, must be charged £1 per person per night for weekend rallies and £2
per person per night for holiday rallies, unless instructed to charge more by the
site.

13. Visitors must report to the marshal and can only attend socials if space
permits after everyone on the rally is accommodated.

14. You cannot join people as members of the club onsite.

15. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and the lead should not be any longer
than 10ft. Any dog mess should be cleaned up immediately and disposed of
appropriately.

16. Raffle prizes should be purchased at a rate of £3 per unit as a guide.

17. At the end of the rally please
  • Complete the balance sheet in full (sign any alterations)
  •  Pay the site, where applicable (payments to site are made in cash, cheque or bank transfer)
  •  Return the completed rally attendance sheet; balance sheet; any monies; signed bonus ball sheet and receipts to the Treasurer or other Committee member.
18. Please collect in any signs used and return equipment to the club. Please let
the Equipment Officer know if there are any problems or damaged equipment.

19. Copy of club rules can be found in the coffee box or on the website. BL rules
are in the front of the rally book.

20. It is an Association Rule that any noise must stop by 11pm, irrespective of the
venue’s licence.

21. Food must not be sold; the cost must be included in the cost of the rally or
offered for a donation.
